2022 Hyundai Venue Facelift & N-Line Variant Spotted Testing

We are already aware that Hyundai is working on the facelifted version of their sub-four-meter compact SUV. The Hyundai Venue made its debut in India back in 2019 and became a popular choice among customers. However, in recent times, it has been facing tight competition leading to a decrease in sales. So, to improve its market standing, the Korean carmaker is intending to make a comeback with the facelifted Venue and its N-Line trim in the sub-four-meter competition.

Major Cosmetic Updates

These test mules were spotted somewhere near Hyundai’s Chennai plant. Same were also spied testing in their homeland, South Korea.

As per the spied images, Hyundai Venue N-Line exterior includes a twin exhaust muffler whereas the standard trim isn’t complemented with the same. Some sportier design elements were seen such as red inserts across the body, red brake callipers in front wheels, and ‘N-line’ badging on front fenders and grille.

The new Hyundai Venue exterior might get a parametric jewel-themed grille on the front, similar to the upcoming Creta facelift. The aforementioned grille is also present on the Tucson sold in international markets. It will also get updated headlamps, LED DRLs, and fog lamps housing. The side profile remains unchanged.

Jumping to the rear, it will have T-shaped taillights which will be joined by a thin running LED strip in between to give a sportier appeal.

The standard trim of Hyundai Venue was plain in comparison. The only exception was a new set of wheels.

Inside the Cabin

The Hyundai Venue interior may include updated upholstery along with an upgraded digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. Even though Hyundai already provides an excess of features in the ongoing model, we can expect them to be more enhanced. The range of connected car technology might see improvement as well. Other updates such as a wireless charger, flat-bottom steering wheel with mounted controls, a new audio system, and sporty metal pedals (for N-Line) are expected.

Safety Features

The Hyundai Venue may get an assortment of safety features such as 6 Airbags, Vehicle Stability Management, ESC, Hill Assist, Parking Sensors, and other passive and active features can be expected as well.

Engine & Transmission: The Core of the Venue

The Hyundai Venue N-Line engine specifications may include a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine (118bhp/172Nm) with a 6-speed manual transmission, iMT option, and a 7-speed DCT on offer. The Venue may also get a 1.5-litre Diesel (98bhp/240Nm) with a 6-speed manual transmission.

A 1.2-liitre Petrol engine (81bhp/114Nm) mated to a 6-speed MT is exclusive only to the standard trim.

When will the Hyundai Venue Facelift and N-Line Launch in India?

No official announcement has been made till now. But both the trims will be launched together later this year. For more information on the upcoming Hyundai Venue facelift and Hyundai Venue N-Line, such as on-road price and more, stay tuned to autoX.
